Brake pad recommendations? was created by Fugitive
I'm due for new pads both front and rear for my 79 kz1000 st (E1). I've seen several different brands available such as EBC, Vesrah, Rocky Cycle, or ones from z1enterprises just labeled "organic". Before I purchase I wanted to check with some of the experts here at kzrider to see if any were more desirable that others. Thanks.

Your best bet is the genuine article. You should be able to find them NOS on eBay. I have also used EBC pads, which aren't bad, but I like the stock pads better (quieter). Ed
