Hmmmm....I wonder why it doesn't show the 16:38 setup on there ?? Maybe the 38 tooth wasn't available when that chart was made up ?? Or maybe they didn't know about the 38 tooth ?? Where did that chart come from, BTW ??

I have a 16:38 on the SR and a 17:42 on the B3. When I need to change the chain on the SR again I'll do the 17:41 on it too.

People are always asking for gear ratio suggestions. I don't find a lot of places that publish anything these days. It makes it hard for the newer guys. If a new guy goes to a web site with a gear ratio calulater, he still most likely won't know the differance. I am always wishing that the motorcycle industry would be more helpfull. Perhaps what I have posted will stimulate some conversation.
