Brake Rotors
25 Feb 2006 21:47
Hello everybody, I'm new here but have loved Kawasaki's for many years, mostly KZ1000's. I need advise. I have a 78 KZ1000 A2A with conversion dual front disc set up. I purchased drilled front and rear rotors from a guy online from a (1980 KZ1000 B4)only to find that the fronts are are thinner by design. Will they work? I see KZ's with duals all the time. Are all the OEM drilled rotors the same? Stock 7mm thick, drilled 5mm. Thanks,Mike

KZ's with single disk front brakes have thicker rotor than the dual disk models, there is a noticable difference in weight between two of the thick single disk rotors and two of the thiner dual disk rotors.
They do interchange with no problems.
