I thought cheng shin was Vietnamese or thai... but i could be wrong. As for not trusting Chinese parts, well I am sure you do it every day is some way.

And i would think that the japs looked to china for subcontracts on these bikes. I know Suzi and Honda have long used Korean companies (hyosung and daelim) to build their parts, they have been doing that for about 20 years now.

But the truth about America is, even when you climb into your f150 super duty you are still trusting your safety to the Chinese.

I've run a couple cheng shins and they rode and wore just fine. Gotta admit I'm very frugal but this is one area where I just don't feel right looking for a bargain. I usually go for Dunlops whenever possible.

Oh you mean the "No Grip" dunlops? Those are nice to do crazy burnouts on or going down the road and just rip the throttle and have her go crazy side to side tire smokin' action even though you are just running a stock engine dunlops? I gave up on that as twice I almost bought the farm trying to stop. Maybe they were just old rubbers but everyone else I have talked to said the same thing about these tires.
The Metzler lazer tires I have heard have the best wet water traction that some guys have ever ridden so I have been told. I have never owned a pair because I opted for the gt qualifiers on previous bikes I have had as I liked them too but...

it's interesting the guys that seem to un derstand the original question...which was have you run em ...and if so how was your feedback for em........all....yes alll...had fairly good things to say about the fair price, low wear rates, rain handling ,and have burned through more than a few allmost to the man.....
the guys in the cheap seats probably have not been through a set of tires in years....never post any ..todays rides...todays builds...questions for fellow members ona procedure or product......pretty much never talk about recent rides or events...just run behind the others posts like little fart catchers....
No some folks only visit here to light flames and show how much they know about anything and everything......god bless em though cuase ....somwhere there is a village getting deprived of it's idiot.......
