Guys i just bought this and was wondering if this is the right swing arm everyone is using? 1984 GS 1150 EF

Everyone is using the 80-83 gs1100e arm. That one will work all you need to do is weld on the shock mounts and it should fit.

Thanks guys!! I should be able to find aftermarket Shock mounts? Or what do you think would work the best?

i Know jeff at Z1 enterprises sells them, i would check there first, maby someone else will chime in.

Did you get this really cheap on eBay? I asked a seller for some dimensions and he was totally confused :S :S For example, he told me the length was 16" - don't think so...

This swing arm looks like it would be more trouble to modify than it is worth. The GS1100 swing arm is the one or the Kawasaki Zephyr (750 or 1100) swing arms are the best.

Here is a GS1100 swing arm mounted on my Scratch built GPz1100 (Built from a CSR) The shocks are for a Honda "Leadwing"

74 Z1-A stock
76 KZ-900 Totaly stock vice MAC pipe

YES!! I did $60.00 To my door. Hell if it dont work i will melt it down and make a ASH TRAY out of it and send it to Trianglelaguna!!!! LMAO!!!!

Z1 enterprises does have shock mounts normally, but they are out of stock at the moment (according to the website). They also cost nearly $100 which is a bummer when the whole arm costs much less than that. They are billet items though and that stuff isn't cheap...

What concerns me with that specific swingarm is the pivot axle area - it's split into 2 sections instead of being solid all the way across. Not sure how that would work but it might be OK.
