xv 920 question (yamaha)

Does anybody have any idea how long that air shock Is?? And do thing there is anyhope of finding that set up any more?? Thanks Jim K

wrecking yards if your lucky. it was an experiment that yamaha tried but it was not the way to go so you would be hard pressed to find an aftermarket source. happy hunting is the bike chain drive or shaft drive.

no v-twin and really ugly but the chain drive versions were pretty cool and rare now.

Yarr, no mate, the xv920 twerr a v twin, the rh rj "euro" were chain drive.s the rest, shafties. all suffered from starter clutch probs. and the gremilns attached w/digital guages on later models. the rear shock was air adjustable.and a limited run. even if it was availible new, it would be well, old., still something needs be used to keep rear fender off wheel. If I were pressed, I'd elevatet the rear end, charge air fitting, and measure eye to eye length., then shop ebay for dirt bike shocks of similar lengths w/remote cans. I'll stop before being rude. luck G

I had one of those that was chain drive. It was the first bike i parted out on ebay. Made a little over $900.00.

Came up in a search figure I would close on the question. The shock is 15".
