Lowering 1995 kz 1000 police

What is the best way to lower an old police bike mainly the rear sits a bit to high for me I would like maybe an 1 1/2 to 2 inches lower. also should the front be lowered with this change?

have you taken the adjusters down on the bottom of the rear shocks all the way...they do not change the shocks spring rates as much as they change the ride heigth in my opinion...?????

I have not tried anything yet, didn't want to negatively effect handling. I will look into that though.

try a spanner wrench or see the method in yuor manual...it does not take too much strength once you get the knack...it will make a difference for sure...
