how many link of a chain do i need for a 1979 kz1000 mk2?

how many are on the old chain,are you changing the gearing?

630 pitch, 92 link chain seems to be stock link count....
KZ900 is 92 link as well...
Either O-ring or XW-ring

As noted by OMR, oem chain is 92 links per Z1E listing
Z1E 0-ring chain for 1979 KZ1000 MkII
Also, Kawasaki.com shows part # 92057-107 DR CHAIN 630X92

should i convert it to 530. is there any advantage other than slight weight saving?
