removing front wheel axles

I have a 79 KZ 1000 LTD. I'm restoring it, I have the front wheel off. I can't get the axle off....But do the axle come off....

put a wrench on both ends ,you might have to put the axle in a vise once its out of the wheel to remove the nut from the other end ,

I might have to soak it in oil..Cause it got rust on it..and i have use a impact wrench, and still can't get it off.

big breaker bar and big friend to hold it,and another big buddy on the other side to turn it with another big breaker bar!:whistle:
