double cradle horseshoe forkbrace???
10 Dec 2008 09:22
i've been looking for a forkbrace that can retain my chrome fender on my kz900...there was one online used that had two pieces of tubing bent in a u shape and a brackett connecting them where the fender bolts go through.
i remember a really done up roadracer kz around my area twenty years ago that had one of these..
does anyone know the history on those braces or if they are still around..i quit biidding at 83..i checked back and it went for 157 and change..so someone really wanted it...
what's the story????
i'm also researching for a brace and am in the market( i know about the taroozzi) thanks peace

i think your probably right again but no welding gear...now i gotta break the news to her....do i buy a cheaper wire feed and do some re-learning...i was a monkey ironworker for a good stretch,,in my twenties first life..but never learned the real numbers on welding and such,,,forgot 98% allready..but great idea...mine would look like a kid made it with his feet though....

If you take some detailed pictures and measurements, your local welding shop can probably make you one for $50 or less.
