Have you tried hooking it back up to the brake line and using brake line pressure to pop it out?
I think you will get a lot more presure that way.

this one hasnt been on a bike in a long time,i wonder if there is something i can soak it in that wont destroy the aluminum housing?i am going to powder coat the housing and replace the piston and seals if i can get it apart otherwise i guess i can dig up another caliper.does anyone know of a caliper off a newer bike that can be used with stock 1000 hub and rotor and be mounted on bottem side of swingarm without a major amount of hassle?

If you can get the boot and seal off, maybe soaking it with PBBlaster (penetrating fluid) would help. Might have to let it soak for a day. Maybe even heat the caliper?

Is this that lovely triangle shaped caliper with a circle and wings
at the wide end? PITA! Suggest filling the cylinder with MMO
(Marvel Mystery Oil) or ATF. Then set the thing piston down in a small
basin with enough ATF to come as high as the inner seal. Give it a try
with hydraulics after a day of soaking. If it's not all the way in the cylinder
it will help to alternately push it in a bit and work it out a bit.

I had to go the PBBlaster route last year and it worked. Since I already had decided that the piston was toast, I got a little rough working it back and forth until it came out.

I made a plug with a grease zerk in it , Just screw it into where the brake line goes , Just hook it up to the grease gun, Pump away , one will move sooner than the other ,, use a C Clamp to hold it back a bit ,, Just keep loosening up the clamp as the piston comes out ,, Kinda messy after the pistons come out ,, BUT it does work well
Maybe for that extra stuck pistons

Nice ideer with the grease. I just use a air nozzle with a rubber end and place a rag between the piston and braket. Then just blow it out. Watch your fingers with this one. You may want to cover your ears too.
