How are triples cut to gain rake. It seems that would be easier than cutting the frame.

How where the triples from Kosmans using eccentrics to adjust rake. They dont make them anymore but I would like to try to have something like that done.

triple trees that have more offset are available in the custom bike aftermarket. i have installed them on sportsters they usally come in 3,5 or 7 degree rake some come in 10 degree.they work pretty good on low powered street cruisers i havn't seen them on any thing really hot. but i think they might work on a lower powered drag bike or a hot street ride but by the time you got the entire package it might be cheaper to just rake the front of the frame.

Is what you are talking about the same concept as the "wanna be chopper" kits for sporsters and bikes like that? Nothing against the kits, thats just what they are usually called around here.

that might work good for a cherry bike that you want to be able to return to origional easily,or a bike you want to race on weekends and switch back to a streetbike during week i guess.how would that affect the trail in the frontend,im guessing it would increase it and make it more stable at higher speeds?;)

Still recovering, some days are better than others.

Thats exactly what I want to use it for. To race on the weekends and return to stock. Or just for the look without cutting the frame. How do they work. How are they cut.

the top and bottom of the trees are bored at an angle.the stem is at the same angle as stock.
