frame bracing? was created by jordan
I see that kosman sells a frame bracing kit fo the z1, will this also work for a kz1000? I know that the z1 frames were much weaker or flexible than the kz's but should i still get the frame bracing kit for a 1000? I plan on making quite a bit of power, and will hit up the track once and a while. Oh ya, BTW the frame is a 79 1000.

yes as far as i know that frame kit is the same i'd problaly buy the engine mount kit at the same time it helps stiffen things up as well. kosman racing are the kings of speed not the kings of bling they have been around for a long time and know there business well.

What timebomb said.

You can make a bracing kit for haff the price. The two most important parts
are the the plates that get welded it the frame neck. There just triangle shaped
plats 1/8" stock. And the rear upper motor mount.
If you are going with a big tire you will need a out board bearing mount on your
primary sprocket.
