New shocks are awesome!! was created by 77_650B1
So I got these cheap new dual rate shocks on eBay for 80 bucks plus shipping. Mine were gone and I was low on money. They arrived today, I slapped them on, and what a difference! No more wallowing around. I have the preload set too high since I figured two notches would be good without even testing, but thats easy enough to fix. Just wanted to share my happiness, its so nice to make the bike work and look that much better.

Says "Forsa MDI" on the box, looks like an old aftermarket set or something. They look good, black body with chrome springs, fit into the stock mounts perfectly. Just gotta find the right preload setting and they should be great.

You ain't kidding... My current crome units were a cheap replacement during the inital rebuild. Far better than mush of soft internals after years of neglect on the units that came with the bike.

I need a new pair for my 82 A2. My fat butt along with the vetter pack make for alot of bottom outs. The ones I have still hold air but are much too soft even at the highest setting. When I got the bike one shock was set at one and the other at 4. Talk about a squirrelly ride.....chris3
