Help me ID a part was created by BeeSting
My KZ's chain tore up some kind of bracket - the one that the center stand bumper is attached to. Does anyone have a name for this bracket? or a picture of what it SHOULD look like?

i looked under my 650 all thats there to catch the stand is a bracket thats part of the exhaust pipe on that side...sorry i even took my camera out there

1978 kz650b pretty much stock

yeah, that bracket is the one I'm talking about. The one thats part of the exhaust. I'm sorry you didn't take the picture. I'm sure it was compelling.

I'm trying to picture what this bracket is SUPPOSED to look like - my question is, whats the purpose of it? Doesn't it look it it's a chain snag just waiting to happen???

With the way my chain tore through the bracket I have to wonder why it's even there in the first place. Is it supposed to be guarding something else from chain strikes??
