engine swap on 82 gpz

does anyone know if the 1983 gpz engine will drop right into the 1982 gpz frame?

should be a reasonably easy swap since theyre both j motors

not sure if this is right but.
gpz1100b1 82 injectors go in to head if you use carbs blank off plates will be needed.
gpz1100b2 83 injectors went in through inlet rubbers.
correct me if im wrong.

Hmm, kinda funny that most people here assume you're talking 1000/1100 motor on everything.

So are you talking about the 82 GPz750 in your sig? If yes, then yes the 83 motor is an easy bolt in, we stuck a 83 GPz750 motor in a 79 KZ650SR and it was easy.
