1976 kz 900 steering dampner pos?

has anyone mounted a steering dampner on a 76 and if so how did it end up working for you as far as location and application....just trying to get some feedback before making a try myself..thanks

I fitted a steering damper to my KZ900 and then took it off a few years later when I figured out that my swing arm bushings were shot.

Any Chance?

thanks for the reply, but i'm not having any big shakes ,just want one for high speed stability and was wondering how best to try and mount it..peace

Here's a mounting bracket available from RedlineCycle which attaches to the front fork tube.

thanks the link to the fork bracket is gonna get me started,they say i'll have to fab a bracket if i have a oil cooler and i;vr got all the stuff now to moun t and plumb a lockhart cooler, maybe i should tackle that then extend the frame tab out to clear it,,,,thanks
