You are about as far along as I am. I like the red fender. What is that color? I did my fork tubes as you did. I think that is a nice touch!!

The red is actually the duplicor-metalcast red, I was leary about it at first, but came out awesome....it has two different coats, a base one, and then the actual red metallic flake on top. Very nice finish.

I looked at that yesterday at my local NAPA store. The have all the colors. I am tempted to try one of them. My fenders look new, but my tank needs a lot of TLC. The guys at the store want me to use the metalcast green. It does look good on the can lid.

It definately adds a unique finish/look to the parts, my fenders were all scratched up Chrome, so I endedup needing a solution which would also hide some minor dents, which the reflection of the paint also hides very nicely. For a rattlecan, the product is awesome because if your heavy handed or not, I am impatient when it comes to painting, worst part of the project for me, and I can't even screw it up with the Metalcast. The green looks cool on the cap, I would give it a try if your tank is in need, it would definately match if you had chrome fenders already also. Good Luck!

Ha, definately know what you mean, it's my therapy to get away from the wife though, eh. It is "my time" which she knows not to disturb, ha. Goodluck with your bike and post some pics also as you go!
