KZ Fork Tool
22 Sep 2008 08:12
I looked around but didn't see anyone who's posted this before so, I thought I'd show what I came up with as a tool to tighten the allen bolt to the piston tube on my forks that I just had apart.
The 12 point recess on top of the inner tube accepts a 11/16 nut perfectly so, I got some 7/16-14 all thread, jammed some 11/16-14 nuts on either end (with a bit of red loctite) and it worked like a charm.
Hope this helps someone,
Sonny

Nice looking tool. For my 750 I had to use a 1/2 nut (19mm OD), but someone had told me the 1000's take a larger one
