Replied by BeeSting on topic handlebars - Revisited
I'd like to revive this post because I have a question as well.

After my 350 mile trek to Chicago I felt alright - but I was wondering about the possible benefits of a different riding position. What are the benefits of leaning forward a little more as opposed to being on a straight, seated position? I find myself leaning forward alot anyways - not sure if it just feels better or if it feels appropriate (based on whats happening around me and what I'm trying to negotiate).

Advice? Input?

Yes, stock handle bars. Some people say that they produce a better ride position and some old reviews from back in the day say that it will promote a sore back.

Well my back was sore but my ass hurt a lot more.

Do you have some pictures of the bars and showing ride position?

Do you have the measurements/specs on those? As far as height, width, pullback, etc?
