You will want to add your year, model and location to your signature to get an informed response and it's considered real friendly too.

You might be better off just replacing the whole master cyclinder,bud...

Silver, You go to the Z1Enterprises.com website and get their phone number. On Tuesday, give them a call. They have new sight glasses in stock. You remove your case cover that holds the sight glass and drive it out and install the new one with just a little coating of JB Weld. Most of them are really foggy and unfortunately, Kaw chose to put a mesh screen behind the glass so they are hard to clean but if you take the cover off and cut the mesh off, you can clean the glass easily. The mesh doesn't seem to serve a pupose. I doubt the clear plastic is cracked and the old one might clean up OK. Use a new case cover gasket.

Think ill go with a whole new master. That plastic lens is soft to the touch even. I can get that same master through my aftermarket books at work too. hadn't thought of the idia of full replacement. Thanks for the tip on those lenses too. I have another in the works project that could use a lens.

Well there you go,Silver.B)

And as far as the purpose of the meshing behind the glass, pretty sure it's there to make the level-line(or bubble) more visible.;)
