The turbo was the end of the developmental line for the air cooled motors. The GPz900R released the same year made the same power, handled much better, had lower noise and emissions and was cheaper to make. The 900 started a line of compact watercooled 16 valve in line fours that continues to this day. With the 2006 ZX14 making around 190hp at the wheel and being restricted to 186mph turbos are considered unnecessary.

Doesn't stop you adding one yourself though :woohoo:

The 14 is already making 300rwhp with a shot of gas on an otherwise stock motor, and Muzzy will have a turbo kit for it by the time the bike is released next month.

the front end is off, the gixxer front end is mocked up and waiting for bearings to show up. i can't shrink my pics to put on here, so i will try and find some one that will do that for me.

If you have Windows XP and it's up to date you should be able to right click on your pics to resize them.

Just to clarify, it's sbjones that mentioned he was putting a 1000 in his 650 a few posts above that is selling it.

Personal problems forced the sale, wish I had the $$ becaise he has already put late model suspension on it, and it includes a ton of spare parts :(
