82 KZ1100 Spestra gear oil

I am changing the gear oil on my 82 1100 it says to use SAE 90 and I found Valvoline SAE 80W-90 high performance gear oil will that work?
Or do I need to get a different type?

78 KZ1000 work in progress in Hacienda Heights California and a 82 KZ1100 Spectra And a 1992 ZX11.
