Front End Swap. KZ to ZX was created by tw..
I've finally decided to swap the KZ front end for a zx7 fron end. So far everything is going good but I'm wondering what to do for headlight ears to mount to the front forks. The zx forks I believe are 41mm or 42mm. Any suggestions on who would sell custom fork ears of this size? I'm going to try Drag Specialties tomorrow.

After I get past the the fork ears it's just finding a way to mount the key switch and guages.

Copied and pasted from my post in your other thread in the "bike related" forum.

I have a GSX front end on my 750E, and it has 41mm tubes, so I've been looking around and found a number of places that sell headlight ears that fit.

You do need to know the exact size of your tubes though.

This place has a list that says ZX7R fork tubes are 51mm diameter. Nice selection though.

Supercharged, what part of the front end do you want to see pictures of?

Are your ZX7 forks conventional or USD style? If they are USD then the part of the forks where you clamp the brackets on will be much larger than 41mm.

The brackets offered through the links for cyclexchange and cresent mooncycles will not work if you have the USD forks..

Just saw that you had conventional style in another post. So disregard my last post, but PLEASE try to refrain from posting the same topic in two different sections. It makes things very confusing.

First of all, sorry for the original posting in the bike related section. The chasis section is more appropriate for this posting.

Looks like I found the fork ears from Parts Unlimited and there is a dealer near me that will have the fork ears tomorrow. These are not the ears quality ears I want but they will do for now until I find something that fits the look I'm going after.

Now if I can win this ebay auction I should have everything I need to complete my bike for the bike event On Sept 7th. I'm not exactly sure about a front fender as of yet but that won't stop me from riding.

I know everyone likes pictures so I post some this weekend.
