OK guys mind out of the gutter.
I need to know how much and what kind of grease do I use when putting on the rear rim on a 82 KZ1100 the shaft rim has what looks like a gear that goes into the rim.

78 KZ1000 work in progress in Hacienda Heights California and a 82 KZ1100 Spectra And a 1992 ZX11.

Hi WM,

Without my manual, it's at the shop, I use a grease that contains molybdenum disulfide.

But while you're at it have you considered the two sides of the slide joint on the drive shaft? They need the same grease. You will need a long nose circlip plier to get the coupler off but it's not difficult.
