If you call all balls they will look the numbers up for you and will help you find the right one for the conversion. They are very helpful...... www.allballsracing.com

I just checked the parts diagrams at www.kawasaki.com/ (and that answers one of your questions :) ), and the 82 GPz750 has a 19" front wheel, so I assume you are using a 18" off something else?

There is a 79 KZ650 in my garage/shop right now that belongs to my Nephew (GPzInfested), and it has a 83 GPz750 front end (18" wheel) along with a 83 GPz750 swingarm (converted to dual shocks) and 83 GPz750 18" rear wheel. We got the adapter bearings from All Balls for the steering stem.

It also has a 83 GPz750 motor in it.

well the donor bike for all these parts was an 82 GPZ750,i have used the engine and now am trying to put the front end and rear end on also.you don't remember what the kit was for the front steering bearings? i am now finding out that you have to use to harness from the GPZ to the KZ to make everything work right including the coils.thanks for the help much appreciated.

I don't recall the numbers, but you could look at the steering bearings list in the Filebase under the KZ Information tab at the top of the page. It will give you the bearing numbers (top and bottom) for your bike and the 82 GPZ. The bearing numbers will tell you the dimensions of the bearings (you can look up the dimensions for a bearing number at All Balls).

You need bearings with the ID of the GPz, and the OD of the KZ.
