KZ550 Shocks
16 Jul 2008 09:46
I'm still restoring my bike, the engine is almost complete; but now i'm making things on the Chassis.
I'm needing the rear shocks, and looking in eBay i found a good pair but it comes from a LTD version, and my bike is the STD.
Anybody knows if the LTD shocks will fit in the Standard or how long are the LTD shocks?
Regards,
Flavio.

No idea. However, KZ750 shocks of the same era are a straight bolt-on. The critical measurements for fitting are the length of the shock installed, and the mounting hole sizes. You might also look into ZR550 Zephyr shocks, the early 90's bikes. They were a sharp looking piggyback gas shock. On my KZ550A2, they were a straight bolt-on.
