1982 Gpz 750 handlebar options?

How do I change out the stock handlebars off a gpz 750, a 1982, over to regular 7/8 bar risers? Do I have to change the whole top clamp, and if so, which one, and is there an adapter set of risers instead?

Explore the front end from a KZ750L3...that model has tube-type handlebars and I seem to remember that someone on this forum went to those handlebars on their KZ750R1...

Spec II sells Profi Clip-ons. Good stuff, but the owner lacks customer service skills. :S
