well, it finally happened. went down a week ago on my mint 440. fortunately it wasn't my kz1000 but i'm attachedto it since i have had it for 15 years.

after 2 days in the hosital i was able to wheel my chair around to look at the damage and here is what i know: rear wheel, chaingard, swingarm, left exhaust and shocks all bent. rear turngnal gone. i'm concened about what i can;t see. frame alignment? how do you check. was recently thinking of selling the bike...

If the frame isn't bent the parts that you listed can be purchased rather cheap off Ebay. I guess it all depends on how tight you are with the bike.

As far as i know there is no "specs" available. You will need to do a thorough visual inspection of the frame. Put the bike on the center stand. Look for things like newly chipped or peeled paint which may be where the frame is bent. You may need to take some parts off(seat, side covers, rear fender etc.) to be able to see anything wrong. A tape measure may be a useful tool too.

I dropped mine like 2 weeks ago and I only need a turn signal, handlebar and a new ignition cover and possibly new crash guard for that side. It was a maybe a slower speed than your self. Wheel chair? What happened to cause this?. I dropped my 1000, only bike I have BTW!
