Hi everyone. Anyone have a recommendation for a progressive shock for this bike? Looking for gas charged ajustable. stock shock measures 13.75 inches, bottom end needs 4.25 inches of clearance for the chain guard. The 412 looks nice but does not look like the bottom clearance is sufficient.

I got progressive shocks and springs (which were also the Progressive brand) for my KZ 750 some time ago. They are way cool, very smooth. I recall the places that sell them have look up tables for model, but I don't recall where I got them. The shocks and springs are sold separately and have to be assembled. Z1 Enterprises used to sell the springs and shocks, not sure if they still do. You can do a net search on progressive shocks.

Z1 has some nice-looking progressive shocks, and they're alot less expensive than Progressive (from what I can tell).

That said, I really appreciate how the entire industry milks "enthusiasts". $160 for a pair of shocks? Please. I used to buy expensive shocks for my car and that was $60 a pair.
