kz1000p seat option? was created by ran429
i have a 1977 kz650 seat with a fiberglass pan, what i want to do is mount this seat on my 1989 police 1000.

I also want to be able to remount the stock one person seat back on it for when the woman doesnt go with me Like all the time) but i want the option of tossing the seat on the bike and sliding my trunk back to offer her a seat on the bike (like hey wife, i am heading to such and such, get on the bike or be quiet) if she refuses then i mount the single seat back on it real fast and leave.

Where do i place the foot pegs for her?
how can i remount the trunk (rear box) so it will slide back and forth for double or single rider?

Well, Randy has been in and out of this site a number of times and just because you don't get an immediate response to a question that you should have been able to puzzle out yourself is not a reason to tell all of us to ef off. Most of my post questions get little response...but the strength of KZR is the amount of info that has been posted...not what is going to be posted.
