Actually drilling these is extremely easy. I was hesitant, got the drill out and in 30 seconds had the bolt drilled out with no damage.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

The nice part about it is you already have a nice place to start your bit, right in the center of the allen head. Use a bit larger that what the threads of the bolt is. Once you drill it, the head of the allen snaps right off when the drill goes deep enough, then the forks come apart and you can remove the remnant bolt with your fingers as there will be several threads right there waiting for you. It's not frozen or corroded in there most likely because it's bathed in oil. Dirty oil, but oil none the less.
