'83 KZ1100LTD - Need RH footpeg brackets

I'm helping a friend who laid his 1983 KZ1100ltd down on the right side and broke his footpeg mounts. This is the big cast aluminum piece. Anyone have spare parts they want to sell or can you point me to a place that sells this?

The spare I had I sold to another member for the same problem. If it'll help the part is the same as the 1100 Specter only that one is all black if I remember right.

For what it's worth, when I broke mine and wasn't into Ebay, I took the broken parts to a welding shop that worked on aluminum boats and they welded it back together strong enough that I could stand on it with my full weight and it gave no sign of giving.

I have the left and right side ones from an A or B model, they might work, I'd have to go out and see if the screw holes line up.

When it happenned (I was trying to load the bike on a trailer and lost control of it), I went to the dealership and the part was still available then, but I almost shit myself when they told me the price.

You can often find things like this on Ebay cheap too.

Did your friend find the broken parts from it? I'd go with having someone weld it and then polish down the weld bead to make it look OK until I found one on ebay or something. I'll go out and check the ones I have when I get home.

There's somebody on Ebay right now with several parts for an LTD KZ1100, could be parting out a bike. If I were you, I'd ask the seller a question and see if he has that part.

Go to Ebay motors and do a search for KZ1100, you'll see what I'm talking about.
