1979 Kawasaki KZ750 rim size question was created by George4
What size are the wheels on a 1979 KZ750? I have a 1982 KZ750-M1 with rusted spoke wheels and I have found spoke wheels from a 1979 KZ750 that are in good condition. I was planning on just sandblasting and painting my wheels but if I can get these at a good price I will just replace mine. The only way I will replace my wheels is if I can get the same size to replace them with. So my question is are the wheels on a 1979 KZ750 the same as they are on a 1982 KZ-750-M1, On my '82 I have 3.25-19 in the front and 130/90 16 in the rear. Thank you

The more I looked at it I relized that that rear wheel is made for disk brake and I have rear drum brake. I guess it will not work.

Not only that but the axles are different sizes (diameter), otherwise I would offer you mag wheels off a 1980 KZ750G twin (drum rear, disk front), but they won;t fit either.
