Z650 Fork tools
15 Jun 2008 22:51
Some where, and I am not too sure where I did read it there was mention of a tool that past down into the forks to hold the 'innards' together while the bottom M8 cap screw was released. There was something said about 17mm AF. If anyone knows what I am talking about, I would be greatful even for some pics of the tool.
It is just that my forks have never been apart for, well since 1980.
Thanks in advance.

Hey Steve,
I have a KZ650-C3 and I just used an impact wrench. It did the job for me with no other extra tool or trick.
Good luck
