Spoke wheels conversion?
14 Jun 2008 08:04 - 14 Jun 2008 08:07
Is it possible to put kz650 spoke wheels on my kz650C (mag wheels) without too much modification? The spokes have a rear drum and a 1 disk up front while my bike currently has 1 rear disk and 2 front disks. Thanks for your help.

you can easily put a 2nd disk on the front just pull the chrome cover for the mount holes but i would look for a rear spoke with disk instead of drum

So it's not a problem with fit? Are there any downsides to spoke wheels other than rusting?

Yes. Spoke wheels are quaint. Mag wheels are cool. JMK.

Edit::
haha here are some member pic's

I am actually looking for a kz1000 rim with a disk on it, I would like to run spoked wheels as I am thinking they will be lighter than any mag's
