I dont know what kind of bike I have, where are the numbers or something that would tell me.......the seller said it was a 74kz1000 but I dont see that on the model history
77kz1000 mikuni carbs,\"cafe style\"4to1 kerker exhaust....want to buy full brake system for 77kz1000 or interchangeable brake system and rear caliper or individual parts from anot

The vin says the model. It should have KZ1000 somewhere in the vin. There should also be a sticker somewhere on the frame listing the build specs, year, make, model, etc. It should also say on your title.
I know it would not be any fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?

Vin number. By the headlight on the frame. Or on your title.. Then go to kawasaki.com, the owners section, punch in your vin number, and VIOLA!

No, you can't change your username, but you only have four posts so yes you can just become a "new" member. You'll lose your post count, a lot of us here are proud of our post counts so cannot or won't change our username (I would like to change mine!)
