Would you guys trust a tire plug?

i use plugs in my backhoe tires but they rarely get over 25mph!:laugh: id say change the tire;)

:laugh: This coming from the man most likely to put a 600ci blown injected alcohol motor in a backhoe.

ive been over my head in service calls for so long i dont even have time to think about hotrodding anything right now,that would be fun though if you could find a hydraulic pump that would hold up to it!:laugh:

I dont think the stock rims on a 1980 1000 LTD are tubeless rims, so you should be using tubes now!

893cv, my wheels do say tubeless right on them, and they sure look stock to me.

They sure do, they also fix "tube" tires with a plug and a new tube. I don't see any greater risk in plugging and tubing this tire.

The only caveat is that the hole needs to be more or less centered in the tread, not on the edge or in the sidewall.
