Lester mags .. tubless or tube??
30 May 2008 18:04
Hey all -
I searched the forum thinking this was probably asked before. I found some debate, but was still confused on a definitive answer.
Are Lester mags tubless or tube? I have a pair I just finished polishing and painting and just bought some tires for. To keep it safe I got some Conti tube or tubless. One of the rims had a valve stem in it when i got it so i assumed they were tubeless, but then reading some old posts here has led to believe they may not be.
I am sure some of you have lesters on your bikes and figured I would ask in case I need to go run out and get some tubes as well.

Should there not be a casting in the rim stating tube type or tubeless, or TL. Something to that effect?

Well based on all of your info, and my lack of TL or Tubeless marks, I am really glad I ordered the tube or tubeless type tires! Thanks guys.
