My F1 had the 85mph spedo which was trashed in my accident, so now was my chance to get a 140mph spedo from ebay. I was assured by members here that all the calibration is in the spedo and not the gear. So I would think if the gear would work with the 85 and 140 it would work with the 160?

Yes, providing the front wheel from the speedos donor bike is the same size (19" on all early KZ650's IIRC) as your bikes is.

Actually Chris, the needle had gone all the way around and was actually at about 145mph!! :woohoo: Sound better? According to ebay, my bike can do that speed!
