Rear tire

I would like to mount a 140/90 16 mezteler on my 82 CSR 1000, Stock tire size is 130/90 16 and the rim is 3.00 wide.

Has anyone done this before or see any problems with it fitting.

A 140 might be a bit tight.
You'll get SOME tire-flex in corners,and that size tire is probably going to touch the inside of the swingarm.
From what I've gathered here,over the years,a 140 probably IS going to be too wide.
I too,am running a 130 with no issues.

I thought the 140 might be a bit wide, just wanted it for looks. I think I'll stick with the 130, Thanks for your opinion.
