I need help!! was created by badboie
I need to figure out what bike this rim came off of. I got this rim and tire from carl, the dude that put my swingarm on, and he said that some guy droped it off and he didn't know what it came off of. I need to know because now i have no speedo cable to use to get my speedo working. here are some pictures.

from what I see on the rim, it says:
D.I.D JAPAN MTR50X16 J 16XMT2.50 1 84 DOT TUBELESS TIRE APPLICABLE

its a 16 inch rim. that all the info I can give. if anyone can help that would be GREAT!!! I guess I could just guess how fast I am goin. lol:woohoo:

I'll give you some hints...

- Soft, oh so soft Cams
- early engine failure blamed on inadequate oiling system
- Came onto the scene as a prototype in 1982, technical issues in the factory held back production to 1983.
- Earlier versions of this bike had chain driven cams, followed later by gear driven cams, to date, a rare find in the motorcycling world.
- It's V4 engine sang a wonderful song, all the way up to 11,500 rpm (1983 remember).
Of the 2 that I owned, the 750 VF750F vs. the VF500F was the best, and 65000 KM on the dial.

Could be either Honda Interceptor 500 / 750, most likely due to tire size I'd say 500
