I need to rebuild the master cylinder on my 75 KZ400D. Could anyone give me a link to instructions on how to do this, or a diagram that shows how to do this? I appreciate the help!! :woohoo:

Your manual should have a description. Basically you pull out the old and replace with new. Check to make sure the bore is clean and free of rust. If it is rusty you will probably have to replace it. Keep everything clean. Bleed it real good and go out and ride it.

You can pick up a rebuild kit for about 30 bucks at Z1 Enterprises, If the bore isn't perfect you can just hone it out. Good luck.

at the bottom of the reservoir cup are two holes. One is obvious and easy to clean, the other is smaller than a pin hole and MUST be clear for you to be able to bleed the brakes effectively. A single strand from a fine wire brush, or carb cleaning spikes will clear the hole. The Kawasaki parts diagrams on Kawasaki.com (under owner info) will help with an exploded view of the parts as it shows the sequence and orientation of the parts.
