Question on Vetter fairing

I can't figure this one out. How do you change the bulb in the headlight in a Vetter fairing? You can't get at it from the back side. The unit must detach from the front somehow....thanks...chris3

If memory serves me correctly most of the Vetter fairings used the stock headlight from the bike. When you got a Vetter kit it also came with a little vinyl or rubber cover that stretched over the remaining HL bucket to keep all the wiring shielded. Try looking at the HL rim at about 5 and 7 o'clock and see if there aren't 2 phillips head screws. If so remove them and the HL should come out.

There should be a small gap in the headlight ring on the bottom. I believe you have to push that in an the ring twists right off......
Now I'm gonna have to go look...

Thanks guys. I had a hunch it twisted off but I did not want to break anything first. My hi beam is burned out and I need to replace the bulb so I can get my bike inspected. I don't ride at night so I did not miss it.....chris3
