MAN! EddieBoy, you did an amazing paint job on the trees that you pulled off that destroyed bike.. then sent to me! LOL.

That bike looks like someone was fueling it up, while lighting their cigarette with a flame-thrower. The fumes then exploded, sending the bike one mile into the air. Upon it's decent the bike went straight down a large vent pipe of a chemical extraction facility, and landed in a pool of sulfuric acid. Note: the rider was wearing high end flame retardant gear and safely landed in a nearby trapeze of a traveling circus.

Just a guess.

Correction. Exchange "trapeze" with "trapeze net".

Wow, I apologize for making light of that. I obviously had no idea. I suppose that's one thing I didn't think much about due to me not having had experience it (or any friends) in my life. I do wish him the best recovery. That has to be a tough. He looks really banged up in the pic. Wish him my best.

On a lighter note, "Old Blue" now has 150 more miles logged on her! The trees worked out great and I learned even more about mechanical repairs and trouble shooting. A good weekend.

Thanks again to EddieBoy and everyone else who has helped me out.

Cheers and be safe. See ya guys around!

The Medical world these days is amazing regarding what they can do. Even more amazing is the body's ability to heal. Glad to hear he is conquering his fears with riding again. Hardest part is getting back in the saddle (literally here I suppose) after an accident. Had some nasty ones on my triathlon/mountain bikes but none that bad, thankfully.

Was sitting there looking at Old Blue tonight and couldn't help but notice how great those new trees looked. Thanks again, Ed.

See ya around here again soon I'm sure.

Matt
