Engine offset
29 Mar 2008 13:12
Hey all. How hard is it to offet your engine to put a 180 rear tire on the back? i dunno about this though, it'd involver a new swingarm too. I've got a swingarm and wheel lying around, wondering how much hassle it is.

um... you don't want to offset the engine... you're bike will be heavy on one side. I have a 180 tire on my 650 w a custom frame... the tire will fit the engine with only a 5/16 offset output sprocket. the rest depends on your swingarm and frame.
