Looking for ZR1 front brake disks was created by Qdude
I want to buy a set of ZR1 front drilled disks.

Seattle rains. Oh it rains too and sometimes it rains. But other times its just raining.

I am looking for drilled disks to replace the solid ones that I have right now as I've learned that drilled ones work better for wet conditions. (And they just look so damn Kool.)

I've learned via a good thread that ZR1 disks will bolt right up and work with the present calipers.

KZRider is my preferred site for purchases. So, if anyone has a line on a set of ZR1 disks there is a buyer right here. Yours truly.

Cheers,

Q

Slight correction Q, it´s Z1R - a ZR1 is either a Yamaha or a Corvette.

You can edit the heading in your first post. At least you could in the old forum.

You can also find 650 front disks from a '79 or later 650 that already have holes as well. I may have a set from a '79 650C3.

Any body know the specs for the disks off of a 79 650 C3?

Are they the thicker or thinner.

I just looked for the C3 disks. I don't have them.

My C2 disks say min. thickness 4 mm.
The Clymer manual say min. 6 mm.
Not sure why the difference. Stamp on the disk is what I'd go by.

I'm sure 650 C or D model disks with holes would work.
