swing arm??

i want to have a littel longer swing arm on my 78 1000 the gs 1100 would be cool i have one on my drag bike but any one ever take a stock one and make it longer or build one from scatch any thoughts??

i built mine from scratch. its not pretty but its straight and strong. with a monoshock from a 1200 venture royale

The aluminum swingarm with the eccentric adjusters is from a ZR750 Zephyr . If interested PM me . It's probably about 2" longer than stock .
