Help- License plate holes

Could someone measure the distance between the holes on a motorcycle license plate for me? I am making a bracket for my friends bike but i don't have plate to measure:blink: I think they are the same from state to state.

The motorcycle plate is 7 inches long and 4 inches high.
The mounting holes are still 5/8 of an inch in from the sides and 5/8 of an inch in from the top and bottom.
