Also all these problems can be eliminated by simply using the stock endless chain. Last summer I had the swingarm off, chain on, swingarm back on in probably 10 minutes or less. No worry about masterlinks for me, not that I ever did. Of course endless chain is not available at your discount motorcycle shop. Watch ebay, I got a Kawasaki $300+ chain for $30 or thereabouts.
